Hello ladies - welcome to the weekend! We are looking at temps around 80 - YES! Warm weather is truly my Prozac. Another thing that makes me happy is Lacquistry's Cotton Candy polish. One of my favorite color combos ever is any form of teal/blue and pink so I knew this pretty girl had to be mine. The polish is a fairly dense pink jelly base with loads of bright blue foil-like glitter ad huge hot pink hex glitters. It only took two coats to get this nice coverage.
Seriously people this shit GLOWS. I stared at it constantly (yes while driving shame). To accent I used two coats of Orly Fancy Fuchsia and stamped the lollipop image from plate m14 with Orly's Sweet Peacock. It also was much easier than It's a Friggin' Circus to remove. Jenna - the lovely lady who creates this wonderful madness - is currently sold out but stay tuned to her Etsy shop and Facebook page for updates. Now go enjoy your day!

Icing Crackle Glitter
I recall hearing about China Glaze's new 2012 Glitter Crackles and being very happy about it. My smile got even bigger when I snatched up Icing's no name purple glitter crackle before any of these ChG's made their debut. This mani is two coats of Sinful Boogie Nights - a bright coral jelly with one thick coat of the glitter crackle on top. On my accent nail I used a purple rose from Kiss' Catwalk nail stickers pack.
This collection includes these rose and cross Ed Hardy-esque jobbies. While the crackly addiction may have run its course I still feel the need for China Glaze's collection when it comes. How about you?

Breaking: Orly Dark Shadows Collection
This morning I saw Allure's exclusive report on Orly's Dark Shadows collection released in conjunction with the Johnny Depp film. Read the article here.
I also read about their summer Feel the Vibe collection on becomegorgeous.com.
Which ones are you looking forward to?

Pink Imagination
It's been so long since I have posted I was hoping to show you my immaculate creation. Alas, this was my Valentine's Mani. I promise I will be back in non-historic times with all upcoming nail art but figured I'd show everyone this beautiful pink along with my horrible stamping fail. This is two coats of Finger Paints Pink Imagination, a very pretty pale pink shimmer that I'd use again.
The stamp fiasco may have had something to do with the fact that this was only the second time I had used the Salon Express plates. The hearts from plate 21 with my first Julep Maven polish - Anne, a dark neon purple cream, Icing Mint 2 Be and the special konad blue. The xo's were from plate 20 with Zoya Alegra. I left it on for a few days but could no longer take my inadequate stamping skills ~
